Live integration

Trello + Zendesk Integration

Sync Zendesk tickets to Trello cards on any board.

Git-Zen for Trello turns the copy-paste between a Zendesk ticket and a Trello board into an automatic connection. Create cards with board, list, labels, members, and due date set from the ticket, and every card update and comment flows back into the ticket timeline without an engineer touching Zendesk.

How Git-Zen connects Trello to Zendesk

Two-way sync, end to end

  • Create Trello cards from Zendesk, setting board, list, labels, members, and due date at creation time.
  • Two-way comment sync: Trello card comments appear in Zendesk, ticket comments post to Trello.
  • Link as many Trello cards as needed to a single ticket.
  • Reference a Zendesk ticket from any Trello card comment; it links to the ticket automatically.
  • Role-based permissions control which agents can create or modify Trello cards.

FAQ

Common questions about Git-Zen for Trello

Do my Zendesk agents need a Trello account?
No. Git-Zen acts on behalf of a connected Trello account, so agents create and update cards without each holding a Trello seat.
How does Git-Zen keep Zendesk and Trello in sync?
Git-Zen relays ticket and card data in real time over OAuth 2.0 for both Zendesk and Trello. Sync state is written back into a private custom field on the ticket, not stored separately on our servers.
