Run GitHub Enterprise Server or self-hosted GitLab behind your firewall? Git-Zen connects it to Zendesk with the same two-way sync, custom fields, and tag pairing as our cloud customers — without your code or tickets leaving your infrastructure.
Talk to us about your setupConnect Git-Zen to your on-premise GHE instance. Same workflow as Git-Zen for GitHub.com, with your Base URL and firewall allowlist configured during onboarding.
Run GitLab on your own infrastructure? Git-Zen connects to it the same way as Git-Zen for GitLab.com — just provide your Base URL.
Git-Zen for Azure DevOps currently supports the cloud-hosted dev.azure.com only. On-prem Azure DevOps Server / TFS is not yet supported.
During Git-Zen setup, enter your GHE or GitLab instance URL (e.g. https://git.yourcompany.com) instead of the public host. Git-Zen routes all API calls and OAuth to your instance.
Webhooks from your GHE / GitLab need to reach Git-Zen's servers. We'll provide our static outbound IP — add it to your firewall's allowlist for inbound connections from Git-Zen.
Git-Zen authenticates against your instance via OAuth or PAT, fetches your repos/projects, and you're ready to link your first Zendesk ticket. Setup typically takes under 30 minutes with a network admin available.
Every on-prem environment is different. We'll walk through your firewall, OAuth, and SSO setup with you to make sure Git-Zen works cleanly inside your network. No high-pressure sales call.
